Another old friend popped into my life recently. We had a lightning fast catch-up-on-our-lives conversation via ma bell, during which she succinctly reminded me that yes, in fact, life could be worse. That, and I saw Schindler's List for the first time last night. Yes, life could be much, much worse. And don't watch Dancer in the Dark. Just say NO.
