10/01/2001 Entry: "Why I Love October"

The oppressive heat finally relinquished its deadly grip on Oklahoma. It's almost Halloween. I love the dark holiday. Lights and decorations are already up. Soren is going to be a princess ghost, combining the world of gloom with the world of glam. Her birthday was a big hit.

Classes are going well. I've hit a bit of a learning curve in Java Programming, having no programming under my belt whatsoever. Luckily, mine is not the only blank face in attendance. Perhaps there will be a grade curve...

Career life is good as well. I have acquired a second part-time position, also here at the university. This one is solely a webmaster position, and will ideally lead to many fruitful opportunities in the future.

All else good or at least endurable. I will attempt to modify my weblog-updating frequency.
